The Ponderosa House is a fresh new sober living in San Bernardino, CA. We currently have two houses open for men. The purpose of our sober living is to provide a sober clean family oriented environment. Meetings are held weekly, and also festive activities are held bimonthly as well. The Ponderosa offers a nice clean environment, with amenities such as washers and dryers, cable TV, and big screen TV. We are certainly located near the 10 freeway, and also near a relaxing fishing park. We are 12 step oriented and believe recovery comes first. Are goal is to help people that are struggling with addiction to maintain their sobriety in a luxury environment.

Now we are embarking on a new phase of recovery housing, which will include homeless Veterans. We call this the (HAL) project. Help At Last. Etta James(right) and her son Donto James(left) are dedicated to giving back to the program of recovery that has given them tools to live a new life. The spiritual foundation of the (HAL) project is based on one simple fact, we are sure that no Veteran made the choice to sleep outside in the cold . We feel that no Vet should live in such a manner. It is the hopes and prayer of Etta and Donto that people will bond with them to right this terrible wrong. Will you please make a donation for this wonderful cause.
